After watching balotelli as a former inter player sign n score for ac, me n a mate had a discussion about how many huge players have played for both with no huge backlash from fans.
To name a few from my lifetime
    balotelli
    fat ronaldo
    figo
    seedorf
    baggio
    davids
    ibrahimovic
    pirlo
    vieira
    crespo

are there any other huge rivals who seem to swap players as frequently.

The pigs head with figo was when he signed for real from barcelona irc. The point was there doesnt seem to be an issue with signing former heroes from main rivals. I know most wont have been fans from either club but how would phillips or ball gone down with newcastle fans,or rob lee or shearer with us. And do you think the players would actually sign

The biggest ever has to be Dennis Law. After 171 goals in 309 games (2nd in the all time Old Trafford scoring stakes) and a Utd legend, he left them and re-joined Man City and then in the last game of the 73/4 season he scored a famous cheeky back-heeled goal that he thought had relegated them. He was visibly devastated but as it turned out, Utd would have been relegated anyway.

Imagine if Graham scored against the Mags and then looked totally despondent about it? Mmmmm!

If DG scored against the mags I couldn't care less how he looked mate, as long as it was the winner that is.

Alfie Conn beat him to it. Class footballer who couldn't give a stuff about anybody.
