    The missus is beavering away right now and I'm popping my head in occasionally to tell her she's doing it wrong.

    Can't go wrong with the classic lemon and sugar topping.

    But normally it's the classic pancake with a bit of sugar and lemon.

    sugar and lemon for me too and i love them with a crispy edge . . . tho today we had pizza , had i gone on FB this morning i may have realised it was pancake day

    kinell sounds great that bft. Since i had me tooth out a few weeks back i seem to have lost my sense of smell, weird i know but ive not had any. Made em for the kids, they went treacle on one and Nutella on the other.

    Tried to get away by making pancakes for the kids on Sunday morning, telling them that they will be no need to repeat on "Pancake Tuesday". My lad told me he's not eating them now !

    Made them again tonight.

    Sugar and lemon all the way.

    Last year I gave up paragliding for lent.

    The year before I gave up interstellar travel.

    This year I'm planning on giving up hope.


    Pancakes:mushroom and cheese, golden syrup and lemon juice. (Two pancakes obviously, the first being a buckwheat galette, the second being a plain flour crêpe.)
