O/T. Paddy Power. Must be a new urban myth!

Just heard this on the radio.....

"Paddy Power will be looking for a new PR man by the end of the week. They have stakes for Pistorious' trial and will give you your money back if he is found not guilty"

Or. As the PR man said..............

"Money back if Pistorious walks"

Honest. Just heard it.

No, not seen the advert but still think my post is relevant, if a little weak or obvious - just using an expression that when someone has a weak excuse then he doesn't have etc.......... IE his argument does not hold water either. Could be a regional colloquialism you've not heard. The Paddy Power is an American expression of someone walking if found not guilty.

I find it remarkable that they're taking bets on the trial, somebody died ffs
