what happened in Hull in the previous 50 years to warrant all that

I wonder if the city is now controlled by a cyber thought controlling company ?
a combination of Allams son and Karoo lightspeed internet thought police .

The underclass of Hull , as yet microchipped into the KC system are revolting amongst the city streets .
Love interests , played by Jennifer Lawrence and Lindsay Lohan (yes its that kinda thing) are separated at the now run down footbridge over Castle Street.
Lawrence kidnapped by Allam Marine Corps and taken to KC house (a 315 story building on the now demolished Holy Trinity Church site)

ive barely seen a doctor who episode , but what i do remember is the backdrop is usually London , more specifically somewhere a tourist would point n gawp at .

what indeed. i recall an explanation from years back that due to chalky substrata it's not possible to build tall buildings in the area.
