Apparently the resaon it took a while to elect the new pope is because QPR had heard that there was a 75 year-old in Rome at the top of his game looking for a new position and they put in a cheeky £20million bid.
and then when they heard he is Argentinian and called the saviour they uplifted the bid further to £22m

It certainly was Carla but why let the facts get in the way of a smile? Would you prefer "Apparently the reason Francis I was elected so quickly was to stop QPR attempting to poach him with a late £20m bid as they had declared an interest in the youthful 75 year old target man"?
The front page of The Sun made me laugh yesterday, it was a picture of the new Pope with his hand up. Obviously him being Argentinian they dubbed him "Hand of God" with a small picture of the Maradona incident at the bottom. It made me laugh.
