Lord of The Rings Pippin? Edit: I'm going with Solskjaer like above. p.s. It's seems legit, posted by Jack Wilshere.
Is it me or why the **** is the trim blue? Shouldnt it be red? There was no blue on the St George Cross last time I looked.
England have always played in white and blue though, the last kit was the first to not feature blue. I think this one looks a bit American if I'm honest, it's the Nike tick that annoys me.
In the 'old days' wasnt it plain white shirt and the only blue was on the badge? Any trim should be red, we dont want anything to do with those manky Scots gets.
In the very old days before replica shirts yeah. There's always been blue (red as well) since then. Actually, come to think of it looks very similar to our Euro 2000 kit. EDIT: This one please log in to view this image
Little more info on this awful shirt from the BBC: England midfielder Jack Wilshere has tweeted a picture of England's new Nike home shirt. The new shirt is modelled by a student at the Arsenal player's old school in Hitchin. The home kit sees the return of blue trimming to the traditional white shirt, with a navy Nike logo on the right breast and the Three Lions complemented by a golden commemorative banner to celebrate the FA's 150th anniversary. American company Nike won the right to produce the England shirt last year, ending the Three Lions' association with Umbro, which had been in place since 1954. England will wear the kit for the first time against the Republic of Ireland on 29 May.
That's not entirely accurate, Umbro are owned by Nike and the switch has come about because Nike are trying to flog Umbro and decided to switch the kit sponsorship deal before they got rid.
