    Reaction a pro-Moyes Man U fan

Doug in Fife, via text on 81111: Which Man Utd players would get into Man City, Chelsea, Liverpool? Rooney maybe. Van Persie when he turns up. That's it. Man Utd were supposed to be different. I'm done supporting them.

Maybe he'll choose Liverpool next, or East Fife? :)

i was a little surprised really
Last season i said Man Utd would appoint a stop gap or filler after Fergie , before they appointed a big name in management .
For me Moyes is a very capable manager and didnt quite fit the bill as a "stop gap" - But i thought he would get a second season and Man Utd hold their nerve in the boardroom.

Fergie was a master at at least one thing , team building , he could make a serious squad which included a lot of home grown players that never had "superstar" status .
Fergie won so much with so few world stars really.

    <laugh> What a cock.

Jurgen Klopp has just ruled himself out, so that's one off the list.

I think it's going to be Van Gaal(with Giggs until the end of the season).

Sticking your neck out going for the odds on favourite all the media say it's going to be....

I just cant see him there, he's too much of an egomaniac. People keep saying "he knows how to handle big stars". Wtf? Do they know ANYTHING about him? He has had a massive falling out with big stars in every single job he's ever had.

No, I was basing it on the fact that I believe he's already on his way to Manchester.

Giggs has now been appointed until the end of the season.

Am I the only who doesn't get the fanfare over Van Gaal?

Winning titles with Bayern and Ajax are hardly amazing achievements. I know he did well at Barca, but that was nearly 20 years ago.

I think Simeone would be my top choice.

Not odds on yet - you can get 7/4 and even 2/1 if you shop around.

He didnt do well at Barca. He did exactly as he would be expected to do. I've always expected Capello at Utd and I wonder if he has a good world cup he might be in the running?

I honestly think Simeone is the new AVB. Remember when everyone w**ked about him having done a record breaking job with Porto in his first season?

You actually think Simeone is going to leave a club who currently are semi finalists in the champions league and guaranteed CL football next season fr a team who are still not guaranteed europa league football next season?
