i was a little surprised really Last season i said Man Utd would appoint a stop gap or filler after Fergie , before they appointed a big name in management . For me Moyes is a very capable manager and didnt quite fit the bill as a "stop gap" - But i thought he would get a second season and Man Utd hold their nerve in the boardroom. Fergie was a master at at least one thing , team building , he could make a serious squad which included a lot of home grown players that never had "superstar" status . Fergie won so much with so few world stars really.

He didnt do well at Barca. He did exactly as he would be expected to do. I've always expected Capello at Utd and I wonder if he has a good world cup he might be in the running?
