They should have appointed someone with Champions League experience from the outset; thats all thats stopping them look at the 'old school' again and our Brucey
They don't need someone with Champions League experience next season -they wont be in it They need a manager with several years Premier League experience - oh...wait a minute they just sacked him!
Fancy our chances of a win at OT now more than i did before Moyes was dismissed if a permanent manager isn't coming in until the end of the season
In Italy they've been saying for 3 days that it's a done deal that Max Allegri is going to Spurs. Itr now seems even more likely with the Van Gaal rumours. I dont think he wanted him to 'deliberately fail', but I would 100% say he wanted someone who wouldnt do as well as he did. He wouldve hated seeing Utd fans fawning over Jose.
I don't. The players will be invigorated and allowed to play their usual Man a Utd style. This now makes our easiest chance at 3 points Villa away.
Mark Sampson would be a good choice - he is used to managing a team full of girls oh and they could have waited until after our game!
I agree, I think it would have been better if he was still there, the fans would be on his back as well as the players. Now they will be invigorated as you say.
Doesn't matter how invigorated they are, without any organisation they'll be the same average team. Plus they won't take any risks with players they want rid of and/or players carrying knocks as nothing at stake for them
Van Gaal has got an incredible record of success in Europe so would be the obvious choice and one to steady the ship, certainly RVP will be happy! Key will be to get someone as a prospective successor alongside him to take over 2-3 years down line and avoid a repeat on this seasons debacle
