its amazing how one of the least known and probably lowest waged players at the club always seems to make the effort. Great effort from the lad it looks like he really is feeling the honour of being a professional after coming from lowly non league football. its quite a contrast from the many players who have lost all reality when it comes to how well paid they are and how most of us would kill to be in their position (cough.. Chopratakenoteyouuselessarsewhole...cough)
I guess if you took a cynical perspective, you could view Mings as somebody who cares a great deal about his public image and is backed by a strong PR team. But I have met him once, and he does seem a genuinely nice lad. He does have a history of helping out the supporters and seems to have his head in the right place. These acts of kindness should be acknowledged and appreciated it, particularly in a time where the gap between footballer and supporter seems to ever widen. Good on him, and hopefully he can break into the first team this season.
