Personally I find the whole mind games thing tedious nonsense encouraged by sky sports and the media, apart from a bite by Kevin keegan does it ever make any difference, will ferguson now rest players after what Mancini has said, total bollocks

Title race isn't over now is it Mancini? It all seemed over 2 weeks ago. If City do win a week today they still have a tough looking trip to Newcastle the following weekend, a United draw or win would pretty much garauntee the title for them but city would have to follow up the derby with a win at Newcastle.

I fancy a draw in the manc derby unless there is something that upsets the balance of the match like a sending-off in which case Man U are still in the box seat. Scholes is playing the best football of his career which is incredible really given his retirement, Man U have an experience edge for me. Guess I just wrote enough there to jinx them!

    I agree <ok>

The title is United's, we all know that. City haven't got a cat in hell's chance.

I hope Man City win it, Utd winning the title is boring.

It would be better for the game to have a new winner, But money bags Man City ? that i dont know. They will have bought it. At least Man Utd win things with having players from there own youth development. How many do Man City have ? After Joe Hart that is ?

They don’t have Joe Hart, he came through the youth ranks at Shrewsbury, he’s no comparison to the players Utd have brought through over the years.

I think a lot of the younger players Man City had or have will fail to kick a ball in anger at the Ethiad with all the money, more young English talent going to waste.

In response to the OP, I couldn’t care less. This is probably the first season in a long time I’ve failed to take any notice in EPL.

Regardless of who wins it, IMO if Newcastle make the top 4 that will be more of an achievement than either of them 2 winning the league.

Hart didn't go their academy, as has been mentioned, but Micah Richards did.

There have been some decent players come through their academy, particularly when Stuart Pearce was in charge, he brought through Stephen Ireland, Micah Richards, Ishmael Miller, Michael Johnson and Daniel Sturridge.

I'm amazed they still allow mind games as it's clearly discriminatory as it excludes quite a few football managers.

It's the best we can hope for: that someone will come along in a year or two and buy Spurs, or Newcastle, or Liverpool, or Everton, and turn them into title-contenders with £1bn in the bank

Scholes is one of the worlds best midfielders. Luckily for us, we have a midfielder who plays very much like him,in Corry Evans. Well so Peter Swank said anyway ! <yikes>

My mam was laughing her head off at Rooney and Fergies upset at the draw yesterday or so she tells me, she hates Man U, I did find Fergies transformation into having a laugh with the fourth official into steam out of ears mode quite funny it has to be said! Hope Scholes comes out of retirement for England, if we saved him for the quarters and onwards (can but hope) we could win the whole tournament, didn't see any better players for Barca the other night.
