He and Iain Moody apparently sent derogatory texts during his time at cardiff - http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/ar...st-homophobic-text-messages-time-Cardiff.html If that's true, then they should throw the book at him, there's no place for things like that at football, and to think Everyone thought Vincent Tan was the bad guy when he sacked Mackay last december as well.
Silly to get caught but no worse than the banter in my office. Where do you work, Matth? There's a journalism job going in Syria.
Vincent Tan is a ****er of the highest order, but being a plastic, you take no notice of matters concerning Welsh football, you only take notice of matters that occur hundreds of miles from where you live
The texts are quite damning. They may be banter but they showed the ingrained bigotry. E.g 'Not many white faces amongst that lot but worth considering" what that tell you about their thinking?? If the FA are serious about their campaign about racism and all that they have to come down hard on these two. Despicable! 'Fkn chinkys. Fk it. There's enough dogs in Cardiff for us all to go around.' On the arrival of South Korean international Kim Bo-Kyung ------------ 'Go on, fat Phil. Nothing like a Jew that sees money slipping through his fingers' On football agent Phil Smith ------------------ 'He's a snake, a gay snake. Not to be trusted' On an official of another club ------------------- 'Not many white faces amongst that lot but worth considering.' On a list of potential signings ---------------- 'I hope she's looking after your needs. I bet you'd love a bounce on her falsies.' On a player's female agent ---------------------------------- A picture entitled Black Monopoly (where every square was a "Go to Jail" square) Sent to members of Cardiff's staff --------------------------------
Tan's stiched the pair of them up like a kipper there. Revenge is a dish best served cold and all that........
Seems rules differ dependent on your place of birth. I was working in one place recently where the manager was Indian. He used the "P" word to describe an Asian neighbor, not once, but several times. Had I said similar, I would probably have been reported.
Seems unfair. If your neighbour used it without malice and only to denote the different countries they come from then he probably could get away with it. If you use it as derogatory remark then you'd be done for it. Black people tend to use the N word too but then they use in a totally different context. That is why the sewer rat's defence of " lots of other people using it why can't I use it" was rejected and he got punished. (The RS defended him as they could not see the difference - too ******ed and low IQ)
"P" word? "N" word? Are people really afraid to type Paki and n****r\negro ect? Has it gotten that bad? Meanwhile real racists actually commit real racism without using the P or N words in public. PC has made insensitivity and carelessness racism while real racism is alive and well and goes under the radar daily and actually ruins lives. All those US cops shooting black teenagers, I am sure they do not use the word n****r\nigga but they shoot\beat\racially profile the kids nonetheless. most of the UK DNA database is black people, like 80% or something even though crime is 50-50 black white. UK Police were stopping black kids and just taking samples, not for any crime committed, just to start harvesting DNA samples of black people. #realracism
'I hope she's looking after your needs. I bet you'd love a bounce on her falsies.' This is probably what he was referring to. I wouldn't say it is sexist per se, but definitely scummy, low brow and lacking in class.
No wonder MM immediately dropped all claims against the club and the owners and even apologised profusely when he found out that these have come into the club's hands. He knew that if this stuff came out he would be done and his reputation in football would be down the drain. Who in the top 2 divisions will now employ him? He might start in the lower divisions and climb up. As an owner would I employ someone who is publicly known to hold such views? Not sure when there may be lots of candidates around.
Both the P and N words are considered offensive, yet a lot of black guys I know actually use the N word. What I find political correctness gone mad is that there is talk of a remake of the Dam Busters. the main stumbling block is how to get over Guy Gibson's black labrador who was called "N*gg*r. The dog is very important to the film, so why on earth do we have to change the name of the dog?
It's not sexist or scummy, or at least people would be saying that if a bunch of lasses were saying that sort of thing about a bloke.
I concede. I have said worse myself on this forum about women. But very stupid and low brow, especially when talking about a work colleague, and putting in writing to another work colleague!! Its the kind of thing I might say to a mate whilst sitting in my living room watching TV......
