http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/neil-warnock-signs-sewer-rat-el-hadji-diouf-8034496.html Colin has gone down a hell of a lot in my estimation (and he wasn't too high to begin with). Diouf is a horrible man; who Warnock called a "sewer rat" last year; THEN HE SIGNS HIM. Pure hypocracy... for once I side with Leeds fans who actually booed Diouf when he came on
I would boo our own signing too if it was that pathetic excuse for a human being. People like him should be lined up and shot.
It would be great if football clubs could take a stance against people like Diouf and just let him rot, he doesn't deserve another chance.
He is rotting. Quite rapidly. He's playing for TWS. That's going to be humiliation all Season for the geeza!
No, it was worse than that... “For many years I’ve thought he is a gutter-type of boy and I was going to call him a sewer rat but that might be insulting the sewer rats. I think he’s the lowest of the low.”
I wonder if Warnock is on the phone to get Shaun Derry back. He'd fit in well with Diouf and the other tossers.
It seems to me that Colin has got into a job he may well regret, and now he is having to sign players he probably wouldn't have, under normal circumstances.
The really sad thing is Diouf is a half decent player. When we played Donny he was certainly the main man. Shame is is a ****.
I'd boo Diouf too, the prick. With Colin, Diouf, Kenny and Master Bates Leeds are gonna have a right party of nobs there this season.
Agreed. I was trying to avoid saying it; but I CAN NOT WAIT for the trip to Bellend Road this season to see us beat them 3-0 (optimistic aren't I?)!
I've got to support the booing fans on this as well, if it had been us it's the kind of signing that would have had me wanting a refund on my season ticket on the basis that I'd refuse to contribute to his wages in any way shape or form. (Probably switch my weekends away to do all the Yorkshire away derbies and maybe the London games (sleeper trains from up here make them pretty good for me).
I was pleasantly surprised to see on their board that they have so many principled fans talking about their disgust over the signing, seems about a 60/40 split between them and the traditional style Leeds knuckledraggers.
Leeds to go for recently made unemployed Bullard? It seems they're trying to make a club full of bellends from top to bottom. He could be next, although wages would most likely be the stumbling block.
