I like Lee Clark, a Legend for me.

But, has he lost his marbles or what?

After all the problems at Birmingham, no money et all.
Up he pops at Blackpool a fortnight later - seems like sheer madness and no accounting for sensible decision making has set in.
A club even more skint than Brum if its possible.

The way things are going, he could have a short managerial career.

He keeps taking no win jobs. I'm not sure if he is any good but what started as a promising career has quickly become a skint induced nightmare

Have a gut feel he will do well at Blackpool.

Regardless of the situation at Brum he did a f**ing s**t job. Kept them up by the skin of their teeth. The home record as well being truly disgustingly awful. Blackpool are heading towards League 1 and an appointment like this will simply quicken the process imo.

He must be skint to take the job as I don't get why.

I liked the look of Lee Clark as a Manager when he was at Huddersfield but must admit his record has tailed-off somewhat.

Blackpool is probably more difficult to manage than Birmingham at this point but you have to admire his resolve in taking the job.

Hopefully he'll get his career back on-track but I really can't see it.

That said, I really couldn't see Newcastle United winning at the Etihad the other night! :)

Certainly going to be a roller coaster ride with the donkeys they have in the team.

Some people just like football and want to work in it wherever and whenever they can. Maybe not shrewd but undderstandable

He'll take any job in order to make money! Although he'll be more than comfortably well off he still probably needs to earn! If Blackpool even improve slightly under him he will still keep his job, even if they are relegated. Its a 'no lose' situation as far as this season is concerned. Even if he bombs it could be claimed its an impossible job anyway! He will then see his chance to shine in trying to get them promoted at the first attempt! Its almost like Poyet's situation last season. The majority of SAFC fans would have wanted him still in charge if we were relegated. Dont think the majority will feel the same this season mind!
