Our Aussie Brit has just taken the first set against Kim Clijsters in the US Open 2nd round. Watch here if you're getting bored of the Paralympic ceremony around now... http://www.thefirstrow.eu/watch/137912/1/watch-robson-vs-clijsters,-arthur-ashe-stadium.html
The young girl is doing well. If she goes no further it would be no disgrace, she's had a great experience. If she wins, then wow.
Not particularly. please log in to view this image Or is it just me getting old looking at an 18 year old and thinking she looks like a kid?
you're just in that middle ground. As you get older you'll find yourself looking at 18 year olds with new eyes. Just ask stan
Old enough to bleed old enough to breed you know how it is, besides at the pleasant age of 18 she's game for any accomplished hunter. I'd give her one
I've never understand the craze about her, I remember her first breaking through as a 14/15 year old and all my mates thinking she was some sort of goddess (bear in mind I'm only a year older than her, it's allowed ) I'm not even 20 yet and she even looks like a kid to me.
as a junior champion i'd have hoped she would have kicked on by now , she does seem to be stuck at her current level ... i suppose being in the top 100 isn't to be sniffed at . i like Marion Bartoli and Angelique Kerber , not particularly stunners , but got a bit of gristle on em.
Congratulations to her, I also thought she would have pushed on more by now, maybe this win is just what she needs to give her confidence to step up to the next level.
To be fair she moved here when she was 18 months old. She's more British than the other lass Johanna Konta.
I think she moved to Singapore when she was 18 months, and moved here when she was 6. Still, she's lived here longer than anywhere else and qualifies for a British passport.
At the risk of opening up a whole new debate, what does define someone's nationality? Is it simply the place of birth? Is it where you spend all/most of your life? Is is where you live now? Where your ancestors are from?.....
