21 straight missed cuts after turning pro... US Open Champion First English winner since 1970 Classy performance, classy speech.
Aye, absolutely fantastic. Great man as well. Great to see us English doing well for once... Was switching between the Spain match and the Open, I'm glad I switched over just before Mickelson missed. Just one last thing to say: "Get In The Hole!"
Great result for Justin, I tried to stay up but was knackered. Not a bad fathers Day present to himself.
Always remember once going to the Lawrence Batley Tournament at Fulford and was following Seve and VJ Singh round. Someone in the crowd shouted "Come on Seve!" which was very unusual at that time and everyone turned round to see who had dared to shout. The person responsible misunderstood everyone's derision to mean they thought he was being unfair by not also shouting support to the Fijian, so he quickly followed up with ".......and you, Chalky Lad". Howls of embarrassed laughter followed!
Fantastic win for Justin, also nice to see him beat Mickleson, not somebody I like particularly. Paddy Power was offering 5/2 for a European winner which seemed a bit mad so was particularly happy to see him win this morning!

Great result for him, really deserves it as he has been getting better and better the last 3 or 4 years. Really touching speech about his Dad, let's hope he can now start to put a few majors under his belt.
Was great to see him win. He's an incredibly good dude. So nice. Don't think Phil will ever win the US Open.
