Fit as a lowie me like. Just had the annual health check, test results all clear, no bowel cancer, hearts fine, lungs fine, cholesterol fine, blood pressure fine. There`s life in the owld bugger yet.
1). Have a medical 2). Find out you`ve got a terminal illness 3). Blow every last penny having a ****ing brilliant time. 4). Make a full recovery. Now that`s what I call Sods law. Go for it man, you might get a surprise and find out you`re healthy. If not see 3). above.
No mate, I`ve heard they take a keen interest in those particular regions but I`ve yet to look forward to that.

Nice to hear you're in good fettle mate. I had an extensive check prior to leaving France where I was entitled to a free 'once over'. I was relieved/surprised/delighted to find I was in tip top condition apart from my weight which I can live with. Having spent years in the gym I built up a massive appetite which I can't always control and don't really want to. I deprived mesel for a long time and drink & eat what I fancy now.
Always have done mate. The whippet breed. Eat or drink what I like and the weight never changes, been the same since I was 17. Some of the stuff I`ve packed away I should be able to hear the arteries hardening. One of the lucky ones I suppose.
It's a nightmare when you've always felt immortal and unbeatable ..... coming to terms with reality is the hardest step of all.
We've had several words on this forum mate, sometimes not for the better.. But i've just digested your words...i'm still scarred, why i don't know, i've seen deaths, and caused it blah blah, the usual ****e.typical macho bollocks. whatever, i don't fancy dying yet like, and don't want doctors to spoil it.
We are all gonna end it one day mate.. What would you prefer, to know it beforehand, or not.. Doctor ..'you have 6 months to live'...... I'd rather not know.
