Being a bit of an old softie I have to say I love all this stuff, RVW was at the James Paget the other day apparently. My mum works there and was gutted that she only found out the day after!
Footballers get a lot if criticism for there high wages and perceived vanity but I think they tend to be very involved in charity work, just don't feel the need to shout about it, which makes it particularly impressive as it's got nothing to do with their image just a desire to help. Like Snoddy with that little Scottish girl he was helping. That only came out after the parents thanked him publicly.
