The case against him has been unproven. Having video footage cutting to someone at the tail end of an argument does not prove the context of the phrase and therefore deciding he's racist is premature. Why the **** people have been having a go at Ferdinand over it though I'm lost on. He's just a witness to the incident, the complaint came from some ****wit watching the telly who decided that a "cut to" in the middle of an argument was worth reporting to the police, causing a court case running up thousands and thousands of pounds in expenses for the state through court costs and police time, when the biggest punishment that could have been handed out to Terry was a £2,500 fine. (oh, and blame to the CPS for ever thinking that partial evidence would be enough to prove beyond reasonable doubt the intent of the comments when they knew the defence was that he was saying it to question being accused of having said it)
