Bye Bye Joey, Bye Bye. Expect Barton to be binned soon. Missing almost a third of the PL programme. Unless he accepts no pay for the duration of his suspension then DQPR may just keep him ? Who would take Barton come to think of it. ?

He's no saint but he's not exactly Beelzebub either.

Seems to attract the ire of the reactionary superficial shallow fans.

He's being hung out to dry here.

Reactionary superficial shallow fans? You're kidding right?

Regardless of how he was provoked by Tevez, following the red card he assaulted Sergio Agüero, started on Ballotelli, before claiming on Twitter that if he was going off he was taking one of them with him...

That should be outrageous in anyone's book.

But you're right - I wouldn't want him banned for x amount of games - I want football brought into the real world. If Barton behaved like that away from a football game - he'd be up in court - I don't see why he should be protected from the law when the crime is there for all to see.

His past has also played a large part in the size of the ban. He brings it all on himself. imo.

Nowt for Tevez for initial foul?
Nowt for Kompany for squaring up to him?
Nowt for Balotelli for running up to confront him?

Derserved red for stupid Aguero foul or Tevez retalation

But very one-sided 'justice' meted out all things considered.

Unless they've recently amended the rules, you don't get sentenced on your past.

We paid for Bullard for an entire season to do **** all, I dont see why QPR wont keep him tbh.

He'll always get a team interested in him when hes available.

He shouldn't have reacted to the Tevez foul on him.
There was no need for Kompany to get in his face.
If Aguero was in the face of the referee, making sure I got sent off, then I'd probably boot the **** too.
Balotelli should've been booked for entering the field of play without permission and inflaming the situation.
Barton is a horrible little ****er though, so Man City knew they could get a reaction out of him.
Sometimes, it makes you glad to be a top Championship side.

Where Joey Barton is concerned its fair to say that the FA have an unwritten law for him. They are clearly sending him a message i would suggest.

i dont like what he did , his twitter post said he wanted to get a reaction from Aguero so QPR would be 10 v 10 ... in his eyes they were fighting for prem survival and that was his justification .

I think deep down had it gone to 10 v 10 - QPR got the result needed fans of his club would quietly forgive him i suppose .

A 12 match ban is about right given his previous behaviour. I didn't like the way he was threatening various people on his Twitter feed either, but I guess thats just my reactionary superficial shallow side coming through <doh>

He 'owned' the puff Lineker on Twitter and exposed the hypocrite Shearer?

    Off with his head.
