I'm wondering if the issue is, that many of the images are posted with URL's from Twitter and if people are on Twitter, the images don't appear?
I don't think it's just twitter pictures. Other sites seem to do it too. I don't know enough about web sites to even try to work it out though. If the quote thing works, at least it offers some sort of work around.
Cheers. For anyone not sure what I did. I posted the picture as normal, but then put [Q.uote] before and [/Q.uote] after the image, but with the dots removed.
Can you try again Frank? The first image I used did't show for me either so I've edited it. ****, the image in the NSFW has gone to three dots for me now.
Yes that works for me - I wondered if it was iphone/ipad vs tablet/pc but that may just reveal the extent of my ignorance about such things.........
It's sometimes ... for me. I also noticed when I posted URLs for football t-shirt pics from the Guardian site, that some appeared OK and some were just dots. PS - using Chrome on PC. PPS - and the beercans 'in quotes' worked OK, too....
It's not working for me now. I've just tried clearing my cookies etc, and it still doesn't work, but it did at first. That's me out of ideas. At least a simple picture works if it's put in quotes. so it's just those that use miffs pictures that will struggle, and most of you that view them seem to find a way round it.
For me Miffs pics always work but must other pics don't! I use a netbook with Windows 7 and Firefox Edit: Not that I ever look at Miff's pics of course-it was just for research
