o/t Is it really too much to ask ffs?

I was driving from Wells to West Brom yesterday and in need of summat to keep me going ........ so I asked our lass for a banana.
As I was belting up the M5 I was concentrating on the traffic and texting people to see if there were any spare tickets about.

So she goes into her bag, peels a banana and passes it to me, all fair enough so far

But when I grab it and glance down she's peeled it in two strips

FFS, it goes against nature, the fundamentals of banana peeling and centuries of accepted behaviour!!!!

Peeling a ****ing banana isn't rocket science is it?

Peeling it in two strips may start off quite well but, as you pull the strips further down they kink over and cause all manner of problems.

I was ****ing furious.

To be fair though, she did sit outside, in the car park, for 2 hours while I went to the match ...... still, two ****ing strips

 

How do you peel a banana?

I'm not a huge fan so don't really have a clue what my preferred technique is.

 

To be fair, there are various ways but how anyone can peel one in two strips is beyond me.

Anyhow, was this said banana a nice banana, even though it was peeled incorrectly?

Was it fully ripe, and a nice shiny yellow colour skin like the colour of sunflower, or was it green and hard, like an angry Bruce Banner?

 

I just couldn't face it, I just flung it out the window in disgust.

 

Texting whilst driving AND littering. Tut tut tut.

 

And speeding

 

throwing a banana out of the window under the wheel of a fellow motorist, causing them to skid resulting in a mulit car pile up! tut tut tut tut!

I'll take the rap for the speeding ....... although tbf I was on French plates and therefore have diplomatic immunity.

However you can shove the littering, it's organic and technically recycling, and driving & texting for match tickets is in the Geneva convention.

If anyone should be up on a charge it's her.

I keep giving her dirty looks every time she passes the window with the lawnmower, that'll teach her!

Peel the banana from the opposite end of the stalk.
We have been doing it the wrong way.
Watch a monkey he has no problem opening the banana.
He opens it from the opposite end from the stalk.
