Just after the sale of star striker Demba Ba for peanuts (£7m) to Chelsea news now that star defender Fabricio Coloccini wants OUT of Newcastle Utd. Whats going on at that club then and are they ripe for relegation ? Is Coloccini wanting to go back home to Argentina or has his head been turned by a mega money move to another PL club ? DQPR and Harry need defenders of quality quickly as an example.

According to BBC, Coloccini has family problems which has caused him to ask to leave. Nothing to do with football. Allegedly

Indeed. But footballers being footballers do we believe that ? Strange as he has recently signed a new 4 year deal.
I think that Newcastle are in a world of hurt now.

Not sure. He did stay with them when they were relegated before, but you don't know.

It is a spectacular second season syndrome though after last season.

With Cisse very much out of form, Cabaye injured, Ba gone, Coloccini going, that's their better 4. I worry for them unless Pardew has some tricks up his sleeve in this transfer window.

Pardew might just want to get sacked. Doubt he'd have to work again with that pay off.

That's one of the things that makes me worry for them! They won't sack him even if they're really struggling, sometimes a change of manager helps just because it's a different face, different style of play but they may find themselves a bit stuck.

Is that why Leeds fear they might lose Becchio?

Tevez said the same to Man Utd AND Man Citeh!
Apparently another £50,000 a week solved those "Family Issues".

Arsenal are also sniffing around Cabaye and Tiote. Loose those 2 and they are joining Reading in the championship.

Indeed. It only needs Tim Krull (gk) to leave and we shall maybe see scene similar to when we played up @ Newcastle in 2008.!!!

Indeed. I bet DQPR cash and Harry can make Coloccini change his mind about a return to Argentina ? <whistle>

If Harry is advising him he'll be living in Argentina for tax purposes.
