Wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of a good local computer repair shop locally?

Something crashed as I shut my laptop down last night, went to log on this morning to get an error msg saying the user profile service failed to logon.

Tried system restore, now all I get is a blue screen with PROCESS_INITIALIZATION_FAILED on it, which then just keeps sending me back to System Repair screen, which just constantly loops and doesn't do anything.

    Thanks for any help.

when you turn it on, tap F8 and select repair windows, then follow the onscreen instructions, if you input a password to log into windows, input it when it prompts you to enter one.

Already done that, nothing works ...just says 'attempting to repair' says could take several minutes. Left it for 20 and it was still saying 'attempting to repair' just stuck on a loop.

Sounds like your hard drive has gone. £70 depending on size.

It's not the hard drive - all files still there as they're listed in the memory scan.

Sent you a PM. Is it possible to retrieve all files even if it won't start in Safe Mode?
