http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/24059309 ... personally I find it more worrying that Roy Hodgson is surprised by, and can't seem to understand the reason for, the criticism ... We were playing Ukraine Roy ... they have one world class player and a couple of others who might just cause a few problems - if they get to Brazil they will not come through the group stage - this was not like having to go to Italy to get a point from a team with any chance of winning the damn thing ...
Anybody would of thought we were in the group of death..just shows you how far we haver fallen..that was shight the other night..and everybody knows it..
The problem is we're not actually any good. All these Eastern European teams that we're supposed to overcome so easily are much more comfortable on the ball and more adventurous going forward. They don't need to be great defending units against us cause we can't build up meaningful attacks
I think not qualifying would do England the world of good. It'll show the F.A. that we're nowhere near good enough when we're a country that has the best football league in the world. We should be a team looking to win it whereas actually we're a team looking to get in it.
I dunno, we've had St George's built and things. It's nothing we'll see in the short term, but more in 10/15 years time.
