Was on holiday in Dubai with a few other players and played 25 minutes in a game with a few other pro's(including Jordan Henderson and Kieran Richardson).

He's flying to see a specialist in Belgium next week, to see if he can get the all clear to play professional football again.

Amazing recovery, good luck to him.

Fantastic to hear that he is recovering so well after how bleak things looked a few months ago. Good luck to him in his continuing recovery.

    From The Bolton News...

Muamba could get go-ahead for Wanderers playing return

FABRICE Muamba will visit a specialist in Belgium next week to find out whether he could continue his career in professional football. The Wanderers midfielder, who made a miraculous recovery after his heart stopped for 78 minutes in an FA Cup quarter final match at Tottenham on March 17, has expressed a desire to play again could now complete a fairytale return for the Whites this season if he gets the go-ahead. The 24-year-old will visit leading cardiologist Pedro Brugada, who recently performed a minor operation on him, to find out whether his body could stand up again to the rigours of daily training whilst fitted with a special defibrillator.

Speaking in an interview with Piers Morgan to be aired on American news channel CNN tonight, Muamba also revealed he had enjoyed a 'kickabout' with players including Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson and ex-Manchester United star Keiran Richardson during a recent visit to Dubai.

"I was on holiday and I was staying in a hotel and there were quite a few footballers in the hotel as well. The staff of the hotel usually play against the visitor so I was by the pool and I heard they were playing football," he said. "Then I went across and saw other footballers playing and I told my friends and Shauna - I told her 'I am sorry but I am going to play football'. She goes 'are you sure?' and I say 'yes' and I just went in there."

Asked if his fiancee said it was ok, Muamba added: "Yeah yeah yeah but she was scared. I just went in through the groove and played for about 20-25minutes. "It was just playing like normal, it was just playing like I was training. It was great, I enjoyed it. "I never tweeted the pictures out to anybody but I am talking to you guys, so you guys have the best news out of everybody! "So it was just to get back into the groove and to get back into momentum, it was just great but I just hope to God that I can get in there myself, with the 11 players on the pitch and to play would be fantastic."

Pity this did not happen to a certain Mr Barton though. Would have saved alot of hassle maybe.

Richardson, "ex-Man U star"? I know he used to be a Man U player, but star? On that basis Featherstone is an ex-Hull City star. Is he not also still a Sunderland player?

Star is a bit strong, but he did play a fair few games for United and looked haf decent, I was surprised when they flogged him.

I wasn't surprised when we flogged Featherstone.

Didn't really surprise me when they sold him, was never going to dislodge Giggs while he was playing regularly and he could only stay there as an understudy for so long, better to sell him and get some cash than release him for free. I was more surprised when I saw him get turned into a left back at Sunderland.

That game in the hotel sounds good though, Richardson, Henderson, and Muamba vs the hotel staff, and the way he just told his Mrs he was playing, you can see that having been an argument that night.
