Must say how jarred off I am with twitter 'tweaking' their site (Ã la Facebook) so that all manner of gormless photos now appear on my timeline whereas before I could click on a link to view them if interested. If I wanted to see ****ing face painting from Norwich Forum, I'd be sitting on the frigging steps outside, would I not. Apparently you can disable this new "feature" on iOS and Android by clicking on settings and setting image previews to off, but there's nothing you can do on a laptop or P.C. Except unfollow everyone who posts pix - or close your account Anyone else noticed / jarred off about this?
Yes indeed, I got excited yesterday when Ratty posted how to disable it, but he didn't say it doesn't work on a laptop or a PC so I wasted half an hour trying to follow his instructions!
