I tuned in after being promised the most spine-tingling noise on earth and all I can hear is the sound of hearts breaking. Mustve been cos the fans who turned up tonight filling the tens of thousands of usual empty seats didnt know the songs.
Watching the highlights and it seems to be all Celtic so far I can't stand Italian football though, they cheat so much and always get away with it. Is anyone else watching the highlights or saw the game live? They've got a defender literally throwing Hooper around in the penalty area on every corner, they both got booked for it early on and the defender just carried on instantly as soon as it restarted. It was the same when we played Italy at the Euros, every set piece we had Terry and Lescott got chucked on the floor and between 6 officials they saw nothing. I don't care about Celtic at all and actually echo what others have said above about them but I hate Italian football more. It's even worse than the Championship for ridiculous cheating going on unpunished.
**** me, now its showing the second half and this same defender pushes some Celtic player on the deck with two hands and no one else around, the ref doesn't see it so he gets away with it and then he for some reason drops to the ground himself and starts rolling around. **** off you cheating little prick. Then another defender starts at it, gets booked and just like the first one he instantly starts doing it again, the Celtic player turns round and looks at the ref with this defender still hanging onto him, waves his arms at the ref as if to say "Are you ****ing watching?" and he just ignores the ****!
The clueless spanish ref was awful from the highlights i watched on itv late last night. Celtic should have had at least 2 penalties when 0 - 0 and 0 - 1. But its same old Juventus. They have been doing this for years and years. Celtic have done well to get this far and shall be back next season in the CL. The world now awaits the Real Madrid v. Manchester Utd game tonight.
Celtic could have had half a dozen penalties last night, how the ref didn't see all that wrestling is beyond me, useless twat.
I must've been watching something else cos every time in my eyes Hooper was committing the offence. Typical blinkered "we're oh so victimised" Septic ****e. Did the highlights show any of the pro Ra songs sung at the airport as Juve arrived?
I doubt it, isn't it just the FLS that has an obsession with showing teams getting off their chosen method of transport?
Off the OP but is it me or is Commons well out of order with his public comments here? I don't care if he thinks this or says it in house, it's just wrong to say publicly. What happened to 'we win and lose as a team'? He seems a bit of a cock to me: http://www.football-italia.net/30715/commons-blames-ambrose
Blaming your team mates is wrong. Giving them a bollocking is one thing for doing something wrong/ daft. Last night he blamed it on the linesmen behind the goal. Which he has a point, if those linesmen behind the goal don't do anything then there's no point them being there, and they might aswell **** off.
Some of us don't give a **** about Scottish teams, or Italian teams, it enables us to be completely impartial and see things as the really are.
Based on the highlights (just seen them on itv player) that ref was ****ing shocking. Celtic had the better chances and looked like the better side, and should've had at least 3 penalties. But they were playing a Italian team, one of the most corrupt in Europe, so it was no surprise. No need to cry over it though, I have no love for Celtic, they should've put away the chances they did have. I have no love for Juve either, probably because I'm a 'fan' of Internazionale.
Some of us hate both Celtic and Juventus, as the traditional rivals of Internazionale, so view both with equal despuseny and see things as they really are and don't let age old stereotypes or whingeing commentators influence them. The better team by a ****ing mile won fair and square.
That's the problem with highlights, they can be manipulated to fit an agenda and show what the editor chooses. Juve were so far in advance of them it was embarrassing.
So why comment and try to be clever then? Surely if you 'didn't care' you'd have avoided this thread.
That is basic procedure from the British media outlets. I bet if there were highlights from Real vs Man Utd tonight, they'd try to make Man Utd look the better team, when Real were much more dominant.
