Seems like vinyl is back in vogue. http://www.theregister.co.uk/2014/11/14/breaking_fad_vinyl_and_turntables/
It was never out of vogue in my house, though I must admit over the past couple of years my vinyl buying has accelerated somewhat. And that's putting it mildly...
Car boot sales are good for finding some great albums and singles for next to nothing if you take time to look through all the rubbish ..got loads of of 45s and LPs that way in the past
Indeed. Note though that vinyl is not permitted at Walton Street, as for some reason when they banned all the dodgy DVD dealers they also banned vinyl. Go figure... I had a great score at Dene Park earlier this year, came home with an absolute armful but £35 lighter in the pocket. If it's vinyl you're after you want to be at Dove House on Beverley Road, or indeed Offbeat which has now been taken over by GJM and currently has bargains galore (we spent £70 in there the other week and still working through the "to listen to" pile now)...
Dagfields near Nantwich is where I get mine, if they ain't got what you want they'll do their best to find it for you.
