Farthings in Beverley is a steak specialist and my last meal there was good. Nothing like the best I've had but not too pricey and nice food.

I really enjoyed the steaks I've had at the Millhouse Restaurant in Skidderby.
    Fillet obviously. Tad pricey though.

Find a JD Wetherspoons, all their steak is at least 21 day matured & cooked to taste, I can honestly say I've not had a bad steak there yet (at any branch) Avoid the main "steak pubs" like Beefeater, sizzling pubs etc

Wilson's on the Marina do a half decent steak.

Or, if you don't mind a bit of 80's decor, Mustaffa's and The Lantern do a good steak.

I was at farthings for its opening night n I was utterly dissappointed at the 90 quid I'd spent - the spuds and steak were just poor

Hopefully things improved but I don't want to go back there in a hurry
