Remember in the early 70s when i worked in the City Centre walking around during my lunch break saw this smallish guy walking towards me .Me being a friendly sort of person i thought i knew him from around town etc, even City maybe. So i said the usual Now then how are you? Good thanks, and you.? Alright i replied. Walked on thinking now where do i know him from then it dawned on me.He was appearing at New Theatre in a play, this was after the Monkees finished.
I wonder if he ever recalled the incident?
    Anyway thanks and RIP.

R.I.P. Davey Jones. You have left on the Last Train To Clarksville. I was there at the start of the 60's tv shows and the 70's re-hashes. Loved the Monkees music more than the cheesy shows. The Monkees Greatest Hits is always loaded into the car cd system. Love em tunes. Happy and jolly especially on a summers day. :emoticon-0100-smile

Sad also PC Rathbone, but not a surprise. R.I.P. as well.
