Is it just me being a heartless git or does anyone else have absolutely no sympathy for these idiots who die or get into trouble as a result of going out in the floods, high tides or terrible weather? Just read about a bloke in Oxford who got washed into a lock after driving his mobility scooter along a flooded path. That tit who went out to take pictures of the storm waves and got washed away, I dread to think how much the rescue cost, useless idiots the lot of them.
The one that stuck in the memory was the couple making love in a car in their garage. They felt cold, deduced the coroner, and decided to switch the car engine on.
I heard the mobility scooter one on the news and I'm afraid to say I sniggered. I didn't actually know they'd died at that point like. But even then I still thought natural selection at work.
