Should be a good tournament. Already had a shock- Ireland beating the Windies. Also, had the inevitable in England performing like a bunch of clowns. Would have to be against the Aussies and all wouldn't it. Any predictions for the winners? I'll go for the Saffas.
I use to follow the cricket. I got to admit I didn't know it was upon us till Saturday. If you read an online version of a newspaper it's easy just to read the football and not notice anything else. Not England to win it obviously. Probably the bloody Aussies.
AU's or nz to win it, Ireland beating windies wasn't a shock, the windies are in utter disarray their best players can now only be arsed to play t20 cricket, won't be long until they lose test status I reckon, Indians go it in for them big time.
James Taylor was conned out of his 100 thanks to both umpires who dont know the rules. The 2 muppets did not even ask the match referee ffs. How many more poor decisions will we / players have to suffer ? Yes the game had gone but Taylor deserved that 100. Great news re. Ireland beating the West Indies. A few more shocks would be nice. But if Australia - New Zealand - South Africa are not 3 of the 4 in the semi's it will be a massive shock. Looking forward to watching the minor nations play each other more than the big ones.
Funniest nights entertainment ive seen in years. England were worse than awful. Geoff Boycott summed it all up perfectly. Had nowt to do with swing at all. Just piss poor batting. Joe Root apart that is. Scotland next on sunday .................
Well done England, it can't have been easy to lose all five games, particularly against teams who've never played cricket before.
Don't mention cricket... on here because there's already a thread about it. (If you're reading this post-merging, then don't be scared.)
Which innings was it? Which Day? Which test? Did somebody actually finish and win a game of cricket?!?!
Of course Aussies are good at cricket - hitting things and running away, it's the criminal mentality.
I don't mind taking stick from fair dinkum Aussies, but when a British exile does it, it's a little tragic.
