Sounds like there's a touch of Southampton with Rupert Lowe at the helm about all this. The whole thing reeks of corruption and self-interest and - surprise, surprise, the ones to suffer the most are the poor fans Sky Blues fans, if you do end up playing your matches at Walsall, remember to wear a brazier
They've gone into admin and been taken over by another part of the same company that owned them before!
There has obviously been a complaint, I've just been back to original source and can't open that one either!
Well actually, I would think the ones to suffer most are the poor creditors, whose unpaid bills are measured in pounds and whose "settlement" (if they are lucky) will be measured in pence. These creditors are not rich people who've "invested" in the club, but the guy who supplies the pies, who prints the match programmes, and so on. And included in that list are the non-football supporting ratepayers of Coventry, whose council in its infinite wisdom part-owns the Ricoh ........

The disease is spreading, Superman yesterday, me today! I know we are struggling to fill our time until pre-season starts but this is ridiculous ridiculous ridiculous ridiculous .......
The Ricoh Arena is owned jointly by Coventry City Council and a charity, with a management company in day to day charge. They have offered CCFC use of the ground rent free next year, but it appears that the club want to build a new ground and are considering ground sharing as a stop-gap solution. I don't know the details of how all this came about, but I think it is disgraceful that councils should play any part in keeping football clubs afloat, e.g. by buying the ground and leasing it back to the club. Councils are not charities, and football clubs are not orphans, blind, deaf, retired greyhounds, disabled ex-servicemen, etc. etc.
Coventry is a basket case I am afraid and indicative of the way that the sport is going. What a bloody mess! Let us stick with Delia
This sort of thing happens all the time to the "smaller suppliers " etc. My company is owed £1000's by the big boys, who make these legal, underhand moves. Sometimes we get offered as much as 4p in the £.
