Anyone who doesn't want to listen to black singers must be some sort of idiot as more good music is made by black artistes than anyone else. From blues singers, gospel singers, doo-wop, Tamla, Soul (proper soul on Atlantic and Stax).

 

Not one of what Happy regards as lesser beings in retail then?

I did retail, as I stated previously, in Debenhams and Next in fact.

Didn't enjoy it. Hard, thankless work, but I did it for quite a while.

I moved on to better things as my experience in the world of work grew.
