O/T Cactus Jacks

Bit of info needed please all.

Its young Chazz's birthday today and he wants to go to a Mexican for a meal. I dont like Chiquito's got food poisoning once years ago. The mrs went a while back and said the food was poor.

So, has anyone been to Cactus Jack's in Beverley and is it any good?

 

Can't comment on Cactus Jacks, but "Gaucho's" on prinny ave seems to be OK. Been a couple of times and the food was good, service decent and the bill acceptable.

 

I went a couple of years thought the food was lovely and price was decent. Service good too.

 

I don't like those schnapps drinks at all, they're for kids/girls who want a step up from alcohol but can't handle proper drinks, such as Jaegermeister, whiskey, absinthe etc.

So all I can tell you about cactus jacks is dont.

 

Just take him to Mexico you miserable twat. Or California.

I haven't been for a couple of years, but every time I've been its been decent, definitely a better option than Chiquito's.

 

I went once and it was...meh.

Prawn skewers were nice I seem to remember, but the rest was average to slightly ****.

 

Cheers cave, gaucho's was very nice. Lunch menu till 4. Bit pricey when you've got kids after that mind.

Just seen a tapas bar has opened on print ave, may ave been there awhile I dunno but will be having ago at that in the next few weeks. Any recommendations?

 

It's pretty good to be honest. Can't go too far wrong and it looks the part.

 

I've played snooker there, and been clubbing when it was rileys. Does that help?
