Very good player as was his brother, Jimmy played at BP in a 5th round replay for Leeds against Sunderland 1967, so I think was older than Brian. RIP Brian.
Was once having a friendly argument in a pub and ended up asking the bloke what he knew about football. When he had gone someone informed me had been a brilliant footballer and got picked for England schoolboys in front of Brian Greenhoff. A bad injury scuppered his chances of making it but he remained friends with both Greenhoffs. A lesson learnt, don't make assumptions about people if you don't want to make a fool of yourself. Another apparently fit person going at a relatively young age.
