    Good evening Townies.

I hope this is okay to post this. If does cause any offence, then please feel free to delete it mods <ok>

First of all, many thanks to your mods for allowing me to post this thread.

Can I take a few moments of your time please?

On Boxing day this year, I will be taking part in a sponsored swim in the sea at Cromer.
All money raised will go to the Norfolk and Norwich Scope Association.

If anybody would be willing to sponsor me, please could you pm me, and I will let you have details of where to send the money.
Obviously all pms will be treated as confidential

Photos of me doing the deed will be posted shortly after the event

Recently a whale was washed ashore at Cromer. On Boxing day, there could well be another one <yikes>

More about NNSA can be found here.

    http://www.nansa.org.uk/

    Many thanks

ps. If any of you are in the area on Boxing day, please come and say Hi. I will be the one in a Norwich Shirt.

dont you have a justgivin page or similar?
Maybe a bit easier then the pm option mate and enhance your hopes of getting donations in. I tend to find the easier the process, the more likely it is you will get donations in.

The group that are running the event in aid of NANSA, have said that there isn't a just giving page, and I don't really want to set one up in case it complicates matters.
I believe the idea is to hand over the money in one lump sum rather than in dribs and drabs. <ok>

Still plenty of time for you to donate to a budgie getting his feathers a tad wet at Cromer on Boxing Day.

If any of you are in the Mother County on boxing day, the drip will be at 11 next to the pier.
If any of you do make it there, I will be the one sporting the Canary shirt, and have the harpoons sticking out of me <laugh>.

Merry Christmas to you all and have a great New Year <cheers>
