Wes Brown may make more money in a week than most of us do in a year, but the Sunderland defender still collected tokens from cereal packets to get free entry to Legoland.

The footballer's wife, Leanne Brown, 36, had been collecting the tokens on the back of Kellogg's packets despite her husband earning a seven-figure salary.

She tweeted: 'We made sure we stopped off at tesco and bought 3 boxes of cereal to get the buy one get one free offer at legoland saving £138!'

There is more but cba to sort it out

Surely they can come out with better **** than this? Hahaha

I would do the same thing. Maybe the kids were excited by collecting the tokens from the packets like I was in the early 80's. Scum paper.

Didn't the media run a story about some washed up ex-SAFC player now scraping **** stains off bogs on ships because he wasted his fortune? Wes Brown's Mrs is frugal with their money and again the media are onto it like they should treat money as no object.

Footballer's can't win with that lot, unless they're turning up at every charity with wheelbarrows full of cash.

It doesn't matter how much money you have, and earn, you still shouldn't be throwing it away.

Jesus. What editor allows this **** to go in his paper, seriously?

Is it in the paper or just filling space on the website?

Dunno mate, but regardless, if it's web, would still need to be ran past an editor I'd assume?

I'm sure the web editor will be some 21 year old graduate, whereas the newspaper editor will be a different kettle of fish. All newspaper websites seem to just run rubbish to fill the pages.

It's not just Sunderland that they are posting annoying rubbish about and to be honest the Guardian with their rehashing of Campbell's false allegations have done Sunderland more harm then anything the mail posts. They seem to sporadically have a sly pop at the club and supporters to further they're agenda. They probably think because an ex manager of ours did a salute on a pitch years ago that we are all card carrying members of the national socialist party......

Don't believe me?.. here are a few...

The club should have sued the are of Campbell and the newspaper over this ****.

I'd love to see a 'win for the white guys' and Sol Campbell would be a perfectly legitimate target for that.

I'm sure the Society of Black Lawyers would be happy to represent him and just as he's about to be cleaned out in court, they'd play the race card and the case would just disappear.

It might get him to shut his sewer pipe of a mouth though.

Maybe a fans group should take the case to the society of black lawyers and ask for it to recommend a member of its society to represent the Sunderland fans against Campbell. That'd put the cat among the pigeons ;) as Luke Goss would say!

They would implode? :) Get the supporters branch to write a letter to the society and if they won't help then get the mail to publish the reply.

s**t on!!! maybe the FSF could get involved?

I'd imagine there'd be plenty of people at the FA, FSF, Daily Mail etc, who would find a nice bit of rug to sweep this under though.

Attempting to take a black person to court on grounds of them being racist is basically asking the devil for a square dance.

I guarantee if Joey Barton was playing for Sunderland he'd have piped up with some response to Victim Sol, as much as I can't stand him, you really need somebody who will not entertain any potential consequences before engaging their mouth.

Your right white people can't be victims of racism. Men cant be victims of sexism. True!

There's a story on the Mail today about equal pay.. check out the graph...http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...Y-years-Women-earning-80p-pound-men-paid.html

basically it's going on about how women are paid less..... not true women who work part time are paid more then men who work part time.
