It is 9 years ago today that I lost my wife. I have been lucky enough to remarry and now have 2 young kids although we now have our own on going medical issues. However, a lot on here have/have had there own problems and it is sadly reassuring to know that you are just not the only one. Dont post too often but need my daily fix of Not606.
Sad to hear that mate, but also happy to read that you moved on, and found happiness again. Times get tough for us all, but it sounds like you were strong, and giving it your best shot, for yourself, wife and kids.. Chin up mate...if nowt else, us daft buggers will be on here for you to natter to.
You should post a bit more mate, your posts are always sensible and you don't get into daft arguments unlike some people
Condolences on news of a very sad anniversary fella. I'm glad Not606 can provide a welcome distraction. The lads on here are second to none. Love you all to bits, our footballing family.
It is posts like this that put our worries about who is leaving, signing etc into perspective...I'm so pleased that you have managed to re-find happiness after what must have been one hell of an ordeal for you...
Good on you for moving on with your life, bud. Young family with 2 kids is a credit to you. Many find it too difficult to move on and get stuck, but days like today must feel pretty weird for you. A nice long walk/ bike ride always sorts me out, esp if I can finish with a swift half or 2 at the end of the journey.
Hello mate - It's nice to know that you've found someone after your wife died. I know a few people who haven't been able to do this and no matter what you say to them they are devoted to the memory of their loved so one amuch that it is ending up breaking them inside. You are obviously a strong person and I'm delighted for you to have found happiness again. You are also obviously a very lucky lad to have managed this as well. Few people find one person in life that is truly there to make them happy. You have obviously found two.
Life can be cruel all too often and it's important to surround yourself with positive, reliable friends and family for when the going gets tough. The lads on here will keep anybodies spirits up at the worst of times. Glad to hear that you found solace and moved on, that's really admirable mate, I suspect you're a stronger person than I am.
