    i'd like him as he can play left back and left wing. however that is only if his attitude has improved since when we last we had him and would hate for the scum to have him.

    Depends on his attitude has certainly improved performance wise at Wigan, though strikers and defenders would be the main priority, especially if Enrique leaves.

    He was young when he played for us and had a ****e attitude. Now he's matured a bit, didn't leave Wigan in janurary and I'm sure he had some opportunities, I'd take him <ok>

    Where does that leave Barton though? as Chappaz said Nolan wont be dropped because he basically runs the dressing room, would you drop Joey to the bench?

    Apparently when we bid for him in jan, he was willing to come back to the toon. It was Dave wheelan who pit the blocks on with the ridiculous price. Even if Wigan go down, wheelan will play hard ball with Newcastle because he can't stand mike ashley.

    Be interesting to see who he chooses, you would have to think we would look the more attractive prospect at the moment, a lot more quality in our team than Sunderland's and we have the money to strengthen.
