N'Zogbia. Where would you go if you were him?

Linked as a target to Liverpool (second choice target after Downing apparently); Sunderland AFC or noocarsel.

If I am honest, Liverpool will get him if they pursue him although learned minds say its Downing they want and Zog is 2nd choice.

So its down to us and them up the road it would seem. Now, is it me or can you all remember when JFK thought he would have a bit of a laugh and call him N'Somnia, not many mags at the time shot to CNZog's defense. In fact, when he wanted to move, many came on the BBC 606 boards to say good riddance?

Also, when we were linked to him last season, many mags came on to our boards to once again state they thought very little of him.

Now however, all of a sudden, they want him back desperately.

Bruce signed the lad for Wigan and has pursued him for 2 years now. He likes the player and the player likes and knows the manager. He knows he wasnt that well received on goonside by the fans there during his time and maybe the fact that his long time friend Titus Bramble is at the SOL will sway it further in our way.

I'd go to Wigan now and offer the £12m. I know its probably over priced but he is a game changing player and we just sold a young lad for £20m. Lets not piss about as we did with Hutton and Johnson and just go and get our man.

If I was him I would come to us, because of the way he was treated by a significant number of Newcastle fans the last time he was at SJP.

However, I'm not him, so I think he will sign for the mags. Whether that turns out to be a good move for him remains to be seen, because there will undoubtedly be a hardcore of fans who just don't like him, my eldest son being one of them.

Cest this is one of the ones that angers me.
I'm sure if we had at least tried to come near Whelans asking price silly or not he would have been here earlier.
And would have been less or equal too whatever it takes to get him now.
The difference he would have made to our attack last season would have been phenomenal.
It still amazes me that the so called bigger teams haven't gone in for him, not just us and lesser teams like the Mugs.

We lost out on him 12 months ago and could do so again for the same reason. We missed the boat on Johnson too and just imagine what an impact having those 2 would have meant. Top 10? Top 6 for sure.

Those clubs that **** about with below asking price offers will miss out. N'Zogbia is a game changing player and scores goals as well assisting. A bid of the asking price, bit high as it is, is well valued when you consider Andy Carroll was sold for £36m and the Zog scored only 4 less league goals last season - AS A WINGER.

Get in there Quinny and Brucie. FAST.
