As well as NâZogbia they want David Vaughan, Seb Larsson, Kieren Westwood, Wes Brown, John OâShea, Darron Gibson, David Ngog, DJ Campbell and Connor Whickham. Jordan who? Darren whatisface? I think those signings would certainly start to turn even the most cynical and sceptical of fans (that's me by the way) into believing there is a game plan after all. Still only speculation but I think a strike force of Gyan (if he stays), Whickam (very, very exciting prospect IMO), N'Gog (jury well out but give him a chance) and DJ Campbell (good alternative target-man) along with Ryan Noble (expect big things from him this year as well) would be very exciting. With Larsson and N'Zog providing the ammunition and Catts, Vaughan, Gibson, Steed, Richo and Meyler fighting it out for midfield places, competition would be great. At the back, Bardo, Turner, Bramble and Ferdinand would have O Shea and Brown (and hopefully Hutton) to fight it out. Mouth watering prospect and a frustrating wait all at the same time.
I don't know who you are but please release the real Cest from those chains I would LOVE to see Wickham wearing the red and White stripes next season.
Fingers crossed! This is definitely the story I wanted to hear on my Birthday :-D If we could pull the majority of this off id be confidant going into next season. Nit picking but id rather have one star striker than Whickham, Ngog and DJ Campbell. Considering we have almost got Dong won signed up. a strikeforce of STAR STRIKER, gyan, dong won and one of Ngog or Campbell as back up. I don't think we are in a position to pay a huge fee for a prospect like Whickham hence why we just sold he.derson.
I agree cest The only thing i think is missing is proven premier goal scorer yes DJ got 13 last season but could be a 1 season wonder we need to add one of the below to that list Doyle Rodellga Defoe Sturridge Zamora I would also like to see Gardener & Evans playing for us next season. out of them players would love N'Zogbia first of all, pay whatever it will cost for him, a midfield with him and Sess in will create huge problems for the oposition. Westwood and Larsson would be good free signings IMO Would also like to see us bring in O'Shea, Gibson and N'Gog think they have plenty to offer the squad and looks like Dong-Won is worth signing, for the price quoted worth a gamble as for Vaughan, Brown, Dj Campbell and Whickham would rather us go for others, wouldn't complain if they signed though but with the rumours that the likes of Palacios is available would rather go for him than Vaughan (I know he is a free) and go after a proven striker rather than DJ Campbell and Whickham
i have been going on for a long time about a quality squad if we can get maybe 6or 7 of those mentioned it would realy bolster our squad players like nzogbia oshea wickham larrson and gibson together with weswood would be a fine addition
I like DJ Campbell personally and the fact he is a player that has a burning hunger inside him to keep improving, is big solid battering ram and has knocked in goals in a struggling side, his reported £1m buy out clause is a snip. However, in that list, Hugo Rodallega would be my choice. Also, the fact we could go for Whickham (one of the brightest young players around at the moment) is a very exciting prospect. He looks to have all the ingredients for a really good player. A mag friend of mine (yes I do have them) watched him last year in the Championship with the mags and said he was the closest thing to a young Alan Shearer he had seen in years. Now I may not want to like the man (for being a skunk) but the footballer was top, top class and if Connor Whickham is in that bracket potentially, yes please is my answer to the question. PS - you can never be too greedy mate? Lol
Definetely, plus a pacy frontman playing off Gyan (if he's still here) would be a nightmare for defenders.

Gibson, Larsson, Zog, Vaughan etc will not be expecting to sit on the bench, they will be after first team football. So where does that leave Meyler, Colback, and Catts.
Those who come in will have to earn their place, unlike last season we should have strength in depth to rotate players out when they're not in form and no ones place should be assured, but I know what your saying.
Klose and Hunt, Charlie Adams, Pavlechenco, D J Cambell, Wes brown, Zigic ?(Birmingham player) Huth (Stoke) they would cost about £35 - 40m, we got £40 m for Bent and Henderson alone.
Mag in peace... Seen as though we're both being linked to Zog it got me thinking about who has the bigger pull should it be straight shoot out between the two clubs and it's a tough one to choose between. Decent fan bases on both sides (and a huge step up from Wigan), previous links (Bruce/Ex-player) friends at both clubs (Bramble/Cabaye - Zog advised him to come to us) both have money to spend and both look like we could offer regular 1st team football. Not sure either owner/chairman will want to offer wages in excess of 50k (although I think you could pip us due to our cap) so it'll just come down to personal preference, the way the manager sells it and who is brought in by either side BEFORE Zog signs...Tight one to call!
Connor Wickham? You'll have to pay a **** load of money for him as Tottenham were/are going to bid 15m for him. I don't think N'Zogbia will sign for you , sorry.
We've been linked to both players for some time now - as you know it's very often a good sign. eg: Sessegnon in our case.
As you say, there's nothing between us in terms of attraction. I suppose it could literally come down to him tossing a coin.... I still believe that he will go to you guys, but we'll just have to wait and see.
