  2. If he does want to DESPERATELY come back, then he'll drop his 60k wage demands and accept the wage cap, or he can **** off!

If you read it it's the transfer fee, not his wages <ok>

  4. No, he stated a while back he wants 60k wages mate. I wasn't talking about that article.

Did he say that, or did a 'source close to the player'/agent say that?

I think it was just rumors that he wanted Extortionate wages.
Have him back in a heart beat. Even pay 10 mill for him.
At least he can actually cross a ball.

  13. If we're going to start this argument, then lets all stop believing that Carroll just wanted to leave for the 80k wage at liverpool and is a greedy Bastard, simply because he didn't state it himself.

  15. I'm not goign to be too disappointed if we don't get him, i reckon we could get better than him anyway.

  16. Well he was saying that Nzogbia himself hasn't told us that he wants 60k a week or that amount of wages, so for the same reason we can't just believe that Carroll left for the pay rise, because Carroll hasn't said that he wanted to leave for the extra cash

People need to stop taking this paper talk as stone cold facts. It may surprise you to hear this, but sometimes, just sometimes, papers make things up. Unless there's direct quotes from N'zogbia saying he won't move for anything less than 60k then I'd take it with a pinch of salt, much like this "Zog desperate to move back to Toon" article. Until I see him either on SSN saying he wants to move or holding up an NUFC shirt at SJP then im not going to get my hopes up, we all did that with Gervinho and look what happened.

And then you back it up with two bullshit sources. <doh>

The Chronicle is more reliable than most papers, but when they use the "source close to the player" trick I'm inclined to think it's bullshit. Hope he does come back though. <ok>

Tash you're being ridiculous, that 60k p/w thing is based on an article from the Mirror. Local press are much better with rumours.
