I keep reading on here that the reason we are not signing anyone is because warnock is on holiday in scotland...SCOTLAND...Have things become so bad with bt since i left that scotland is now classed as overseas and we can only contact neil by sattelite phone...surely if we were in the hunt for any one we would be talking to them about money by now...

I've said the pretty much the same elsewhere. People seem to be panicking that we haven’t made 5 signings yet. Very few transfers have been completed yet – if any. I’d love things to be happening, but we must trust in Warnock’s ability to get the best he can out of the budget he has available. Patience.....

If Graham is a target I'm sure Warnock will be putting in a matching offer, although he's on holiday he'll be aware of everything going down this weekend...

Have no fear. Paladini is taking care of things while Neil is on holiday, and Bernie is busy with his main priority of F1 and Flavio is... topping up his orange tan and avoiding calls.
    Trust in Paladini!!!!

Quick.... Panic. The lunatic has taken over the asylum!!!!!

Warnock would not have been the one to "put the offer in". He would have spoken to the board - whenever - and they will have decided what they are prepared to do and arranged for the bid to be put in. It is then out of Warnock's hands.

The board will already know just how much they are prepared to pay for a player.

Warnock's involvement will only begin again if the bid is successful, then he will try to talk the player into signing.

He might get involved earlier if there is a possibilty of a deal where a player goes the other way. (ie Graham from Watford with Helguson going the other way as part of the deal.)
