Do you think sir Neil will retire he did say that he was going to give it one last shot unfortunately it didnt happen,if he decides to carry on i can see a lot of championship managers looking over their shoulders.

I cant imagine he'll move out of London. His family is settled here and has been for a long time. He has two young children and is thinking of retiring in the next few years anyway. If another championship job in London pops up then who knows.

    Dramatic return to Palace anyone?

I will LMAO <laugh> if he takes Paul Jewell's job after his comments last year. Saying his record and achievements were better than Neil's, silly man.

Reinstated at QPR next week with a payrise perhaps, when the Board are faced with this option or Wilkins!

He owns a place up in Somerset still aswell so there's always that possibility of returning to Plymouth

He should probably retire...although the thought of having unfinished business will kill him. Sadly, his limitations have been brutally exposed by the media since his sacking and I can't see a championship club wanting to keep take him, because they'd have to sack him after promotion. Then what's the point? Have a good rest Neil and spend some quality time with your family.

Listening to talksport tonight and with the speed at which Hughes has appeared it looks as if this has been planned for some time. If so then NW has been treated even worse than I thought. As much as I understand the reasons I still feel very sorry for him and think he deserved better than this. Nobody, and certainly not Hughes will demonstrate a fraction of the passion that NW has shown. A sad loss to the premier league.

The display of passion does not really matter if he can reverse our current direction in the table and put 40+ points on the board.

Please snap him up BBC and let us wave goodbye to tossers like Claridge and Crooks.

Think this might be a great pre-retirement fit and I'm sure he could turn things around and keep Plymouth in league football - maybe he could also bring in a few of our fringe players.

Great shout, he would certainly be entertaining.
Then again just putting wave goodbye to the tossers is a good shout!

He'll be back with us next season.
Is there a better promotion specialist out there?
