It pains me to say it but it seems Neil Warnock doesn't have an eye for a striker.
Rob Hulse, Jason Puncheon, Bothroyd, DJ - none of them near the mark, confirming the fears of most of us when they were signed (although admittedly i would have taken Bothroyd over Morrison. And look how that turned out yesterday)
And i fear Macheda is going to be the next in that sorry line of misfiring misfits. I've heard United fans wonder why we signed a player who failed to convert chances in a team that created loads. I'd loved to be proved wrong but Macheda isn't the proven Premier League marksman that we desperately need. Yet Peter Crouch continues to bang them in for Stoke. With Crouchie being a lifelong Rangers fan and his missus not wanting to leave London, surely we could have bagged him in the last transfer window. If we had, we could be in the enviable position of now seriously tempting Defoe to pair up with him again. Instead we've landed a United rookie still living off that goal against Villa. And who else? With NW's eye for a striker, expect Ched Evans to turn up next.

Hulse was injured when we signed him and didn't really fit into the 4-5-1 formation last season
Puncheon has played about 7 minutes in total so hardly has had a chance to prove himself. Don't know why as he has potential
DJ had a bad virus and has been injured most of the season. Again when someone bangs crosses into the boix he does finish them as he did at Wolves
Bothroyd - Agreed, he looks aimless although does hold the ball up well but accuracy and end product is very poor
HH has done the business although not a Warnock signing

At this stage I woiuld like to see Macheda, Troy and Bruno start at MK Dons

Hello mate. You heard right...he's back in the 25 man squad!! Can't quite work that one out!
Yep...very pleased with Taarabt. Easily the best player on the pitch yesterday and looks as though he has improved his work ethic too. Shame we will lose him to the African cup and maybe for good if sold!!

Bloody African Cup,just as Adel was getting a run in the side and Traore plays for Senegal. He can't defend but has looked useful on the wing,we need to bring in some quality replacements not hungry loanees!Tony needs to give Neil substantial backing or we are heading back to the Championship!I'm starting to weep now.

Great. Our hopes now hinge on Rob Hulse proving himself a prolific Premier League striker. I'll always love Warnock for saving us from relegation and taking us to the title but some of his recent decisions/tactics smack of desparation. I think he might be one of the greatest ever Championship managers. But sadly out of his depth in the Prem. Anyone got Mark Hughes' number?

A bit harsh on DJ I think - he hasn't been given a fair chance yet. I would like to see him start against MK Dons.

Disagree that AT cant defend has looked good in both full back or wide midfield he has great energy and a real success story. I am sorry but events off the pitch have mucked things up ... What makes my blood boil is any comments about our old squad as we are looking clearly at Norwich and Swansea both of which have not invested in so called premiership players... They have however retained their team spirits and credit to them
NW has fiddled with something that wasn't that broken and I am sorry but Kasper Gorkss had the ability to turn into a solid premiership defender
He was fearless and I can only guess that there was trouble
He brought a thug into the team who has a very low degree of quality in him as a footballer ... A failure and only a legend inside his own head
He hides in games too often and sadly that had been easy to see. I wanted to be proved wrong and only in the 11th hour has Adel been introduced again this was due to the situation and I understand that Barton played a large part in that . We are now four pints off the pack and could be in the bottom three if it goes tits up later you time here i have truly pissed off such is the effect on being QPR in my soul
I should be enjoying the jungles here in Mexico instead I want them to burn down already killed two ****ing parrots at breakfast ... I need the gym urgently plus there are American twats everywhere ... ****ing world Cancer
They just repeat **** instead of saying anything
Still had a game of footy the other day on the beach against the Mexican lads
Still got it Mexico 3 QPR 6
    Adios
Swap Barton for anyone he should play for Millwall he is past it

Yeah, DJ has had few chances and scored away at Wolves. Hulse seemed to play every game last season. I can only remember him scoring a couple.

Don't reckon he is after he was talking about fighting his way into a busy month for spurs.

...which would be encouraging if it wasn't for the fact he said we'd be bought by Russians, his prediction of an announcement of a new training ground turned out to be HH's contract extension, and his prediction of Andrew Johnson joining us last Monday turned out to be Macheda.

Don't get me wrong - I quite like CB's optimistic posts - I just think his source at LR is taking the p*ss

we don't have to name the squad til the end of the month. even if we didn't bring anymore forwards in, i'd be surprised to see him in it.
