Afternoon happy hoopers Met my sauce for a double expresso at the office yesterday. Interesting news on NW being heavily courted by a West Midlands club who've recently parted with their long term manager. It seems he has a good friend in a high ranking employee there with the initials JM. The Forest option has taken a back seat due to Mr Doughty's untimely passing and (Dirty) Leeds despite CB's insistence was never an option as their transfer budget is 36p and a packet of scratchings, plus the expectation of promotion was 'very high'. My sauce thinks the West Midlands situation could happen v soon - would be an irony if he kept them up and we went down. Anyway, maybe it won't happen but thought I'd pass it on as its a slow day
Not a pleasant thought at all, it could just happen! Neil, Wolverhampton is way too far from London and Cornwall mate! Bruce for Wolves, he'll keep them in the bottom 3!
Who knows Oslo but my Sauce was of the opinion it was v likely. Time will tell. He did say though that the £1m payoff thing was all papertalk
Well if your source is right, we'll just have to get more points than Bolton, Blackburn and Wigan! Definitely doable, especially with a few strategic injuries and suspensions at Blackburn!
Until its out of hands we should be well up for winning every game, I'm just disappointed we didn 't turn up until 60th minute at Blackburn
We havent paid up Warnocks contract so he is still employed by us, so he cant take the job without our approval. I cant see him doing well there anyway, his style only works with lower league grafters.
I'm only passing it on Flyer, my sauce has links to NW and not QPR, he is close to him and he never BS's me.
I wasnt doubting the story but just stating that we could stop it if we wanted to, Id be tempted to veto it and hope they end up with Bruce.
I understand the relationship between QPR heirachy and NW is pretty good so would be surprised if we could or would want to veto it if a settlement has been reached.
I think it would be a very sensible appointment by Wolves because if he fails to keep them up they surely they would be favorites for promotion next season, assuming NW were to stay on as manager. I can almost hear the Warnock basher's bricking it now at this moment begging & pleading (bloody pleaders) Wolves not to take him on in case he does the impossible, personally I wish him all the best and would love to see NW back at LR next season even if it were with a different club, in the prem. However if NW were to get the job at Wolves keep them in the prem and we go down we would definitely lose TF as he lives and breathes by his decisions and were he to get it wrong his principles would be compromised therefore he would be off, God help us.
Maybe Flanners but this is football so expect Ruud Gullit to sign for Wolves as player/manager by 3pm today
Why?? Don't get this one minute NW is rubbish and only good for the lower leagues and now you would veto his moved to Wolves surely your not bothered if he gets the job as he is not capable, make your bloody mind up.
I can see NW fitting in well at Wolvehampton : "The job comes with a super company car Sharon ... for our Cornish trips " please log in to view this image
