Think that will see Kane out the door tbh. Think he'll have wanted a "top name manager" to come in and while Nuno did a great job with Wolves he's probably not the best available manager out there.
Went through a lot of **** to hire the man everyone thought they'd get. its a sad state of affairs when you've spent a billion pounds on a stadium and can't even poach some random Spanish manager who probs woulda been **** anyway. I think he'll do about whats expected of him by the neutrals, ala, fighting for a top 7 spot and find himself on the trash heap because its not good enough for Levy and his whackjob expectations.
He spent alot of money at wolves and made an arse of it in the end. If we played them now I'd fancy us and that's saying something. Jiminez was a big loss to be fair, but if you've spent hundreds of millions you should be able to cope with 1 injury. I think Tottenham are a bad window and a bad managerial reign away from colossal damage given their 1. 2 billion of debts, so I really hope he fails and they do a Leeds.
I would imagine Tottenham are still active and desperate to get the super league back going. I don't think we've seen the last of that personally
We most definitely have not. Look at the desperate three in Europe wanting to stick with it despite UEFA threats. These owners think they’re bigger than game. In some ways they are to be honest. If anyone is stupid enough to think guys like Kronke, Glaziers, Levy, Roman meant all that “we’ve listened” bullshit, they’re beyond naive. They don’t give a **** it’s an ego and money game.
My interpretation of that was that they misjudged the response and realised they'd made a mistake of not conditioning their fans 1st. I believe over time they'll make noises about the trouble their clubs face and also try to make the super league appealing to their fans. Once they've got a few sections of their fans supporting it they'll go for it and that'll be it for football fans like us. I'm hoping that some legislation comes in to make sure it cannot resurface, but I don't think we're going to see anything at all come in.
It was only the previous season Wolves were being touted as the best team ever promoted to the PL. not a cat in hell’s chance that that was ever true.
Yep it’s back to the drawing board after the blood and thunder approach failed. They’ve not suffered any punishment of note whatsoever. As you say they’ll do it slowly. They’ll be disappointed that they have to revert to the tried and tested hearts and minds approach.
