Maybe not, Poch sold Mason to make way for Winks so hopefully Mason has a chip on his shoulder about that! <laugh>

I fully expect us to get smashed by City but hopefully Mason and Powell will do well and give us a bit of pride back before the end of the season.

Oh yes, I recall that now. For some reasons, I was thinking that they were good mates from their time in the Academy.

The obvious thing that has to be said about Allegri is that we're essentially hoping that Bayern think he's the best fit for them, thus giving us a clear path to Nagelsmann

Here's one from left field - which is probably the worst place for a source of ideas right now......
But I wonder if we couldn't entice Harry to stay if he were to be offered an appointment as player-manager.
Or maybe player-assistant manager. Whichever, he would of course need an experienced partner
    to work with.
But he clearly has a good understanding of the game, and of the potential/commitment of the entire squad.
Not to mention being Spurs through and through.
I'm sure I shall be shot down for this, but I'm really worried about the downward drift continuing
if we lose our one genuine superstar AND we don't make the right appointment.
I thought this might be a way of reducing the degree of potential loss.
Ok, just give me time to run for a bit of cover before you start firing.......................!!!!!

I suspect a few players told levy that they wanted to leave because of Jose. So he's been sacked now to avoid players formally requesting to leave. I suspect Kane and Son were the main parties.

It’s a nice thought but personally I don’t think that’d be something that’d entice him to stay to be honest. He’s a bit too young to be looking at going into a player/ coach role too.

I think the only way Kane willingly stays is if we pick up the pot on Sunday and finish top four - no pressure, Mason <laugh>.

Though he may have to stay regardless as it’s hard to see too many having the money to buy him, albeit I think if one or two do get a sniff he wants out, they’ll find a way to try and make something happen. Gotta feeling it won’t be a pleasant summer for us.

I've always suspected it was due to Levy. Not good if this is true.

Because Bruno Fernandes is not Harry Kane who has been a loyal world class servant for our club

he’s not reaching the peak of his career yet, there is that urgency for Kane, plus he’s actually won things with United.

Nagelsman or Rodgers..even though Nagelsman not won owt yet but I think he’s well set...he’s where Poch was when he left us...that level...so I think he’s ready just needs the backing.

    the others are project types

    not sure I want Sarri.
