How many summer signings do you think Newcastle will make with the supposed 35 million they have to spend?

    Cheers <ok>

    2. Every single cost of the transfer comes out of the £35m. He will include the helicopter rides, the black cab fair from the airport to the training ground and then to the football ground and then to the hotel, the hotel room, the food and drinks bill, agent's fees, wages, bonuses, the fee itself, the cost of getting a name printed on the shirt, the tea for the press conference. Everything. So...two.

4: 2 strikers (one able to play on the wing as well; Gervinho?), one utility midfield man who has the quality to start (Kranjcar or Barnetta) and one utility defender (primarily a full back, but happy at CB).

And I would make it 5 if we dont consider Kadar to be ready to make the step up, if this was the case I'd sign One Size or someone like that as 4th choice back up.

Also add one for every first teamer who is sold (if any).

Would like 5 but think we will get 3 if we're lucky.

4 I went for, this is, 2 First team strikers, 1 Fist team defender and a back up midfielder maybe an extra goal keeper so I would actually go for 5 now

    I hope 3.

I expect 1 (and that will be someone useless)

So I'll split the difference and go with 2.

    This.

Hopefully two strikers(one who is versatile and one who is quality/will be our main threat upfront), 1 RM(cover/competition for Barton), 1 DM(back-up for Tiote and replacement for the ageing Smith), 1 RB(Tomas Rincon.. can play full-back and midfield, very versatile and wouldn't cost much in wages/transfer fee) and LB I'm not sure.. just Ferguson to be honest and Kadar can be competition/cover for Ferguson.

Do you really think AP will get the £35m to spend? I heard MA had already lost it on the tables in the casino.

I think there will be more than five signings, 6 maybe. But some of them will be offset by players sold so I think there may be only three or four additional players.

  20. One striker
    One centreback
A cover for fullback (one that can play LB/RB)
    Another creative midfielder
